Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB)
The Town of Needham has implemented use of a Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB) for field trips and other extra-curricular events with 14 or fewer passengers. MFSAB vehicles are operated by Needham Public School employees who are employed as teachers, coaches or other school staff, but who are not professional drivers.
The vehicle is insured by the Town of Needham, but families must sign a liability release to allow their students to ride. More information on the MFSAB will follow.
