The Elementary Curriculum Center contains professional and student resources to support Needham's elementary curriculum. The Center functions as a lending library making these resources available to teachers. Barbara Collins, Literacy Curriculum/Instructional Leader, and Laurie Levin, Math Curriculum/Instructional Leader are housed at the Curriculum Center.
The Science Center's goal is to make science "come alive" for Needham students and teachers, preschool through high school, with a major focus at the elementary level. The Science Center provides live animals, and teacher loan items and also offers field trips to enhance the curriculum. Mary Rizzuto, Elementary Science Curriculum/Instructional Specialist is housed at the Science Center and is available to teachers to assist with all aspects of science instruction.
