Administrative Technologies

School administrators and support staff improve system-wide accountability by using a variety of technology tools to communicate to the community, gather and analyze data, improve financial practices, organize curriculum, and maintain student and personnel data. School and district data is managed on several systems, see chart.

PowerSchool is the student information system that provides data to most other systems. Directors budget for, select, maintain and upgrade their specific systems with the assistance of the administrative technology staff. Each director is responsible for training user groups and supporting the use of the application.

Administrators, teachers, administrative staff, parents and students have specific levels of PowerSchool access to either maintain or monitor relevant data. For more information: PowerSchool.

The 2007-08 program review of the media and technology program included an informations systems subcommittee and an infrastructure subcommittee. Attached are the information systems and the infrastructure final reports of findings and recommendations.
