Free lunches and reduced price lunches are available if it is determined that a need exists. Each student is given an application for free or reduced-price meals during the first week of school each year. Applications are also available in each school's main office, the cafeteria offices, and the Nutrition Services central office (at 1330 Highland Avenue) throughout the year. Applications are handled with complete confidentiality and processed according to Department of Education income guidelines. The family is notified by mail of the eligibility determination.
We understand that financial circumstances can quickly change. Should you find that free or reduced meals might be appropriate for your family at any time during the school year, please complete an application and submit it to the Nutrition Services Department.
Please feel free to contact Ruth Griffin, Nutrition Services Director, with any questions.
