Welcome to Needham Public Schools. We have implemented a new online registration system to make the process smoother and easier for all involved. Whether you have just moved to Needham, re-enrolling in the district, or transitioning from a private school we look forward to working with you, your child, and your family to make the experience a successful one.
Please complete the required steps in order.
Step One of Four:
You will need to bring the following paperwork with you to your scheduled appointment with our District Enrollment Office...
Owners: real estate tax bill, or town water/sewer bill, or signed P&S.
Renters: lease and utility bill.
- Submit a copy of the most recent immunization record/physical examination.

- Provide proof of grade level â€“ report card or progress report (except for Kindergarten and Grade 1)
- Copy of IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
- MCAS report if applicable (Massachusetts residents only)
- Custody papers (if relevant)

Step Four of Four:
Once registration is complete, please call and/or visit the school designated at enrollment to receive new student information and to contact the school nurse to review your child's health record.
All students requesting transportation must register for a bus pass. Below are applications that can be printed, filled out, and submitted to the Transportation Department located at 1330 Highland Ave. Needham
It is also important to review the Transportation Guidelines by clicking on the Transportation link to the left.
