Transportation and Nutrition Services

The plan for reopening our schools pays attention to students' needs for Transportation Services and Nutrition Services. On August 27th, Superintendent Gutekanst hosted a Zoom meeting with families to answer questions about buses, breakfast, lunch, and much more. The presentation and recording of this meeting are available for your reference and summarize the key points families need to know. Please see links below.

NEEDHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR TRANSPORTING STUDENTS AND PASSENGERS
The health and safety of the students and passengers we transport, as well as that of our employees, is our primary concern. To this end, we have implemented safety measures to minimize the risk of exposure while students and passengers are being transported to and from their schools or programs following guidelines provided by Needham Public Schools (June 1, 2020), DESE (July 22, 2020), and local public health officials.  The Transportation Safety protocol is available at this link.
