The Needham Science Center invites the Needham community to the opening day of the Cambridge Science Festival.  This event will serve in lieu of Family Science Night while our traditional host, The Newman School, undergoes renovations.

Needham Day in Cambridge will feature presenters from the Needham Science Center, along with demonstrations from Needham elementary, High Rock, and Pollard students.

If you are interested in volunteering at this event, or serving as a presenter, please contact the Science Center at (781) 455-0475.

More details will be available as we approach the event date.

March 11, 2010

The Science Center offers a district-wide Family Science Night each March.  The theme for the March 11, 2010, 3rd annual event is Engineering: Inventions, Inventors and Design. Teachers are encouraged to showcase the work of their students or bring a group or class to present at this very popular event.  If you do a project early on in the school year but would like to have it presented, the Science Center will store them until the March date. Consider contributing your student’s work!
